People book airport hotels out of necessity. For this reason I've been to many which are not particularly excellent...and live off the fact people will always have to stay near the airport. Ibis Styles Liszt Ferenc was not one of these hotels, and it has totally exceeded our expectations. Here's why: +the staff is incredibly professional and friendly +although the restaurant hall has a cafeteria vibe going, they serve really good, restaurant quality food. The wine selection also included some wine that has made it into our top 3 list for this year. + sound insulation - oh my god this is usually terrible at airport hotels - not here! We didn't hear a single thing from anyone. Great insulation! + the bed was great + everything was perfectly clean + breakfast is at a convenient time

This was the best location next to an airport that I have visited, literally just five minutes walk from the terminal! The staff are very friendly and helpful, we arrived at the hotel close to midnight and there were people sitting in the lounge area which was nice considering the time. The reception was very friendly and helped us with directions for getting into Budapest the next morning. Couldn’t have been easier, walked five minutes to the terminal where we boarded the 100E, which is nonstop bus into Budapest. Got off the bus and walked around 15 minutes to our hotel, the Dorothea Hotel Budapest, an Autograph Collection hotel by Marrriot, which definitely never disappoint.

Staff offerd 1 hour later check out because we arrived late, at 6 in the morning....they told us that the new policy is that the customer rents a fridge for 7 euros if you need one to cool medication, but they freeze the "ice bags" for free for further travelling. I told them that this is the first hotel in the world for us with this experience...they did it it for free this time. There is a lot of accomodation in the neighbourhood...with shuttle service..etc..please look at what tou get for your money. We have been here before but will look for something else if they charge for cooling the meds.

Ibis is a clean, comfortable & quiet hotel. Similar to 'Premier Inn' but with breakfast included in the price. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need for a short stay including hand & shower gel, hairdryer etc. Breakfast was superb. Plenty of hot and cold food. Everything you can think of is laid out, it was short of nothing. Breakfast is served from 4am until 10am so even if you have an early morning flight you can eat before you go. The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from the terminal which for us landing after 11pm was a god send

Restaurant food was super tasty. One of the best burgers that I have tired all over the globe. Cleaning stuff respected privacy as per note left. Furthermore, staff assisted me with my bags as I needed to check out early and I had a meeting to attend so bags were securely kept by the reception. As this is consider as airport hotel, great job and slightly above expectations.
